Treasurer

Nic Lane

Nic Lane is a native of Spartanburg County growing up in the Boiling Springs Community.  He is a 1999 graduate of Boiling Spring High School, where he served as student body president.  A 2003 Clemson University Alumni, Nic received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources Management and is currently working to obtain his Master of Business Administration degree (MBA) from Wake Forest University with a scheduled completion date of December of 2009.    

Nic now serves as a Human Resources Director for Milliken & Company, where he was awarded the Distinguished Leadership in Recruiting Award.

In 2006, while living in Anderson, SC, Nic joined with other like minded young people and was appointed the Upstate Vice Chairman of the South Carolina Federation of Young Republicans.  Since 2006, he has worked to charter numerous local groups and to create grassroots movements throughout the upstate.

He currently serves as the Treasurer for the Spartanburg County Republican Party and is the Executive Committeeman of the Cannons Campground Precinct.  He has also recently been elected as a National Delegate to the 2009 Young Republicans National Convention.

In addition to his political work, Nic is a former member of the Camp Croft National Park Restoration Board, a former board member of the SC Association of Colleges and Employers; and is involved with the Spartanburg County Young Republicans, Rotary Group Study Exchange Program, Society of Human Resources Managers, March of Dimes, and the SC Federation of Young Republicans.

Nic and his wife, Kayce Fulton Lane reside in Spartanburg County.
